Looking to get involved locally or nationally?

Since our programs rely on the involvement of youth, adults and community partners we need your help. We have opportunities from youth volunteering at a soup kitchen, an adult helping with a fundraiser or writing letters to the press in support of community involvement and service. Click here to learn more.


Twenty-one YVC sites across the US are fortunate to have the help of AmeriCorps National Direct members at their sites. Members typically serve full time for one year (1700 hours in one calendar year) starting in the fall. Half time and minimum time positions are also available at several sites. Our model of connecting youth to non-profit agencies that need assistance allows us to keep our overhead low, however we still need staff to develop programming, monitor current sites, start up new sites, Team Leaders to supervise service projects and implement the academic lessons and promote service to 11-18 year olds.

Without your support the YVC would not be in existence. Help us continue to provide quality services to our Youth Volunteers and the communities in which they serve.
